John Ruskin was the leading English art critic of the Victorian era, also an art patron, draughtsman, watercolourist, a prominent social thinker and philanthropist. He wrote on subjects ranging from geology to architecture, myth to ornithology, literature to education, and botany to political economy. He also wrote about paying too much or too little for valued products.
"There is hardly anything in this world that a man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and people who consider price alone are this man's lawful prey. It is stupid to pay too much, but it is still worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose some money; that is all. But when you pay too little, you often lose everything, for the object purchased cannot perform the task it was intended for." Now I like a good bargain just as much as the next person, but I also like to think that I'm a smart enough consumer to know when to spend money and when I can go for the less expensive options.
As with all things, everything has its price and value. While the cost of wedding photography may seem high, your investment has a timeless quality which should not be underestimated. Many spend lavishly on the bride's dress, the venue, food and the flowers. Over time, what remains are your photographs and they serve as a lasting reminder of your wedding day and the essence of many special moments. Your photographs bring the details of the venue and service to vibrant life for years to come.
I enjoy personalizing and customizing every photography portfolio to your budget. It is about working with you, listening to what you want and how you envision your day. My philosophy is simple, listen to my client and give them what they want. My inclusive major event pricing begins at $1200.00.
